Cussler's books are fast and fun. I enjoy the antics and escapades of Dirk, Al, Hiram, and Rudi as they go about rescuing the fair ladies, finding lost historical/mythical treasures (and terrors), giving the Bad Guys their just desserts and saving the world as a matter of course.
